Year in Pictures

2013 has been a fun and busy year! Here's proof from the pages of Cary Magazine, plus additional unseen photos published for the first time here.

If you were out and about at local events this year, such as Lazy Daze, Dog Days in the Park, sledding at Bond Park or even our Elegant Weddings Gala, you may even see yourself in our photos!

Some of our favorite shots feature mouth-watering foods from area eateries, too-cute reader pets, and even Cary Magazine covers that just missed the cut.

Then there are celeb photos, like Jiri Tlusty of the Carolina Hurricanes, featured among our Most Eligible Bachelors, and singer Lyle Lovett, performing at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in May.

Notable Teen Kai Lightner is “hanging around” in here, our 2013 Cary Magazine Gives Back partner Horse & Buddy gets some love, and you’ll likely recognize artist Jerry Miller on a cover that created a lot of buzz.

Enjoy the journey — and here’s to making memories!
