Rex Healthcare has partnered with BremnerDuke Healthcare Real Estate, a division of Duke Realty Corp., to develop an outpatient medical office building at the corner of G.B. Alford Highway and Avent Ferry Road. Construction is expected to begin on the site at the end of this year with operations anticipated to begin in December 2011.

The facility will offer residents of this area urgent medical care, clinical laboratory services and radiology services, including digital mammography and bone density screenings. In addition to the outpatient center, Rex will offer physician services to include Rex Family Practice & Sports Medicine, Rex Heart & Vascular Specialists, Rex Surgical Specialists and Rex Pediatrics. The medical office building also will have additional space available for other physicians and medical practices.
