There’s something about the promise of crisp, clean air that makes us eager to freshen our wardrobes and update our style. But most of us don’t have the luxury of a complete wardrobe overhaul every season. So how do you bring in some new without tossing all the old?

Cary Magazine sought advice from three local retailers to dress up and down a closet full of classics with fall’s latest looks.
