Best Friend Pet Adoption in partnership with Paws Fur Joy Photography is creating a pet calendar for 2022. This furry fundraiser will feature 12 months of lovable local pooches. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest will assist Best Friend Pet Adoption with continuing their mission of giving all rescued animals a chance to find their forever home, no matter their medical condition.

The calendar submission and voting starts Jan. 11, 2021 and runs for eight weeks. Triangle owners may submit photos of their dog, and dog lovers can vote on their favorite pup. The cost to enter is $5, and each vote costs $1. The top 13 vote-getters will be professionally photographed by Paws Fur Joy Photography for the 2022 calendar.

Rules:

• Each entry is $5
• Limit of one pet per photo entry. People are not allowed in photos, only your pet. Photos that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win with no opportunity for a refund.
• Only one dog per entry. If you have two dogs they will each need a separate photo and entry fee.
• All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos. We cannot accept any copyrighted or professional photos.
• The Submissions Period starts on Monday January 11 2021, Eastern time at 7AM, and ends on Monday March 8, 2021 at 9 PM Eastern time
• You may submit your photo entry at any time during the voting period. However, the earlier you submit your entry, the more time you have to get votes!
• Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
• Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, or obscene, as determined by Paws Fur Joy Photography its sole discretion, will be removed from the contest with no opportunity for a refund.
• Posting more than one photo of your pet does not increase the chances of winning. The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 13 entries that receive the most votes. The same pet can only win once. Attempts to win two spots in the calendar by the same pet will not be permitted.
