About: Our organization, Period Project NC, was created to help fight period poverty across North Carolina starting with our schools. 1 in 4 girls in NC cannot afford menstrual products. Nobody should have to go to school with the worry of whether they will be able to take care of their basic hygiene or not. We install small, free period product dispensers throughout NC school bathrooms with the help of our ambassadors. Our most recent project was installing period product dispenser at Panther Creek High School.
