OOPS! Forgot Your Valentine?

It’s not too late! Surprise your sweetheart with a lively concert by a Broadway star.

Tickets are available now for Heroes, Monsters & Madmen: Craig Schulman, the latest in the award-winning Broadway Voices concert series, at the Garner Performing Arts Center.

Schulman is the only actor to have performed three of Broadway’s most demanding lead roles: Jean Valjean in Les Miserables; the Phantom in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera; and the dual leads in Jekyll and Hyde.

Schulman has also performed in the operas Carmen, Die Fledermaus, and Madama Butterfly, among others. His solo concerts have played before sold-out audiences throughout the country.

In his Garner performance, Schulman’s “heroes” are represented by songs from Man of La Mancha, Les Miserables, Carousel, Camelot andThe Scarlet Pimpernel.

His “monsters” are represented by The Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast, and hismadmen” by Little Shop of Horrors, The Secret Garden and more.

A collaborative effort between the Garner Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Garner and local businesses, Broadway Voices brings three of Broadway’s best stars to the Garner Performing Arts Center each year for one-night-only, full-length concert performances.

The Schulman concert will take place on Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m., at GPAC.

The final concert of the 2012-2013 Broadway Voices series is set for May 4, starring Alli Mauzey.

Single-show tickets are $35 each; tickets for both of the remaining shows in the series are $50 each.
