An Irish Christmas

It’s A Galway to Broadway Christmas, as the 2013-14 season of the acclaimed Broadway Voices concert series kicks off on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Featuring songs of Christmas, Broadway and his Ireland home, Dublin-born star Ciaran Sheehan makes a one-night-only stop at Garner Performing Arts Center for a full-length solo concert to please the holiday crowd.

Sheehan, known for his starring role in Broadway's Phantom of the Opera, has performed sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall, and has starred in multiple PBS specials.

He’ll be accompanied onstage by renowned Irish fiddler Heather Martin Bixler and acoustical guitarist Gabe Donoahue, who has played for Michael Flatley’s Riverdance and for Irish band The Chieftains.

Tickets for this single Broadway Voices concert are $35, and are available at garnerperformingartscenter.com or at (919) 661-4602.

Tickets for the full Broadway Voices series of three shows are $75. Upcoming concerts include Tony Award-winning Norm Lewis on Feb. 8 and Ragtime star Christiane Noll on March 15.

Broadway Voices, now in its fourth season, is the recipient of the Arts & Humanities Award for innovative programming, from the North Carolina Recreation & Parks Association.
