Juneteenth Events

“It’s important to note that during Juneteenth here in North Carolina … history rewards those who seek it out,” cultural historian Darrell Stover told Cary Magazine in a 2024 interview. He’s the curator of this weekend’s Juneteenth Celebration in the Downtown Cary Park, one of several opportunities to reflect, remember, and celebrate unity with members of the community.
