Bursting with berry flavor, this winter twist on the award-winning Kölsch adds the tangy tartness of real cranberries and the subtle sweetness of pomegranate to each crisp and refreshing sip.
In Germany, brewers and drinkers alike often add fruit juices or lemonade to their Kölsch, depending on the season. White Street Brewing Company is building on those traditions by infusing their Kölsch with real fruit purees. A few winters ago, the brewery started with a blend of pomegranate and cranberry, which added a nice tartness to the beer and complemented the dry, crisp finish. It quickly became an annual favorite and inspired White Street to try different infusions throughout the year like Tangerine Pineapple and Key Lime during the spring and summer.
White Street Brewing Company is Wake Forest’s oldest craft brewery. Founded in 2012, White Street quickly became a hub for the community and the heart of downtown Wake Forest. There’s something to do every night of the week — from trivia, to music bingo, to live music, to Dungeons and Dragons! Check out the website for the latest events and seasonal brews and cocktails.
