Curious about the worth of your old stuff? Gather it up and head to the Antiques Appraisal Fair, hosted by Friends of the Page-Walker!
This second Antiques Appraisal Fair, featuring noted Antiques Roadshow expert Ken Farmer and his team of experts from Quinn & Farmer Auctions of Charlottesville, Va., will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For $10, fair-goers can have one item appraised by the pros, or a maximum of three items per person, with proceeds benefiting the Friends’ ongoing historic preservation and archival efforts.
Please note: Stamps, coins and firearms will not be appraised.
When bringing your item, organizers ask that you include any related handwritten or typed identifying information about your collectible.
And rather than transporting a large piece of furniture, you’re welcome to bring a photograph instead.
The Page-Walker Arts & History Center is located at 119 Ambassador Loop, on the Cary Town Hall Campus.
