Help us to help others who are doing good things in our community, by voting for the 2014 Cary Magazine Gives Back charity partner.

Vote here daily, today thorugh Dec. 31 at 5 p.m., for one of these four finalists. The organization that receives the most votes becomes our charity partner for 2014, receiving our help in promoting its events and good deeds all throughout the year. 

The 2014 Cary Magazine Gives Back finalists, in alphabetical order, are:

Children’s Flight of Hope Inc.
Children’s Flight of Hope provides free air transportation to and from medical facilities for seriously ill or injured children who, due to medical, financial or logistical reasons, cannot travel to their destinations by any other method.

Dorcas Ministries
Dorcas Ministries serves local residents in temporary crisis, providing emergency assistance including shelter, clothing, food, fuel, transportation and medical care. The organization also offers assistance with childcare, and educationalscholarships.

PORCH-Western Wake
PORCH-Western Wake is an all-volunteer organization that collects and distributes food monthly to assist families in need living in Western Wake. It operates on a neighborhood basis, with monthly donations collected from donors’ front porches.

Save A Life
Save A Life works to raise awareness of teen suicide, to educate the community and to remove barriers that separate at-risk teens from help.
