Salsa dancing, that is!
The Town of Apex will host the fifth annual Apex Latino Arts Festival this Saturday, May 31, from 3 to 10 p.m.
Events are centered at the Halle Cultural Arts Center downtown, with fun activities for the whole family.
Enjoy crafts, art workshops including jewelry making and woodworking, piñatas and more from 3 to 6 p.m.
On display are works by artists representing numerous nations, including Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Columbia, and Cuba.
Then, from 6 to 10 p.m., it’s the Latino Culinary Fest & Bazaar, at the Historic Depot in Downtown Apex. Enjoy live music and dance performances, arts and crafts bazaar, and for $5 per person, sample authentic Latin American foods.
It’s a full day of fun, celebrating the Latino arts and culture within the local community.

5:30 p.m., all-girl Luminar Dance Group
6 p.m., DJs, the Mendez Brothers
7 p.m., N4, Latin rock
8 p.m., Gabriella Kuznik, Latin fusion
9 p.m., Ricard Diquez, award-winning salsa
