Everyone recognizes the iconic Coppertone beach baby, and now’s your chance to help one local girl walk in her footsteps.

Allison Kase, 3, born and raised in Fuquay-Varina, is one of 10 nationwide finalists in the Little Miss Coppertone competition. The winner will become Coppertone’s new model for print ads, along with winning a dream vacation for her family (Allison is reportedly torn between Walt Disney World and Hawaii).

“Allison is very excited. Her face lights up whenever she sees herself on the computer,” said mom Virginia Kase.

The winner will be determined via Facebook voting. Each participant may vote once per day until the contest ends on July 26.

“We want to get the community involved and help this local Carolina girl win,” Kase said — so consider heading over to Facebook to cast your vote.
