Join with the United Way for a ‘Day On’

On Monday, Jan. 15, lend a hand to the United Way of the Greater Triangle as it mobilizes more than 2,500 volunteers in 35 community service projects across Wake, Durham, Orange and Johnston Counties.

Organizers say King’s birthday is observed not as a day off from school and work but as a ‘Day On’ where community members come together to volunteer to benefit their community.

The nonprofit’s largest volunteer events are called Signature Projects. These five Signature Projects and their locations are outlined below. Click here for a complete list of volunteer projects organized by the United Way.
