Hops for Hope Prepares For Take-Off

Children’s Flight of Hope (CFOH), a nonprofit organization providing free air transportation to and from medical facilities for children in need, believes distance and the cost of travel should never prevent a child from receiving life-sustaining, life-altering, or lifesaving care — no matter the frequency, no matter the distance!

To support their mission, Children’s Flight of Hope is hosting Hops for Hope on Sept. 16, giving locals the chance to sample over 30 beers curated specially for CFOH by some of the best breweries in the Triangle.

“Hops for Hope is so much more than a family-friendly beer festival,” said Heather Miller, Manager of Events and Community Engagement. “It is about 30 companies and 30 breweries committing their time to bring lifesaving and life-changing care within reach. It’s about community and the collective spirit that is so strong here in the Triangle. Aside from being able to sample 30 unique beers, there’ll be live music, food trucks, and activities for kids.”

Teams will showcase their drinks at Midtown Park at North Hills from 2-6 p.m. Tickets are $40 each and are available at childrensflightofhope.org/events/hops-for-hope. Wondering which companies and breweries are participating? Check out their list here!

“Our children face rare and complex diseases that cannot be treated close to home, and through the kindness of others, we provide hope and healing as we fly for their lives,” said Miller. “Individuals can support our mission by purchasing a ticket to Hops for Hope, making a donation, or signing up to volunteer at the event.”

For the kids who receive help from CFOH, the sky’s the limit! Don’t miss this fun and family-friendly opportunity to give families hope through flight!
