Tonight’s the kickoff to fun: It’s the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival!
The Landsharks get the party started with a rain-or-shine concert tonight at 6:30. The band has appeared with Jimmy Buffett, opened for The Beach Boys and performed at the Super Bowl. Bring a chair, but no coolers or pets.
Saturday (rescheduled to Nov. 5) will host a full day of festival activities from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., from more live music by the Magic Pipers and Crush, to magic performances, comedy, and the King BMX Stunt Show.
Browse the Artist Village, enjoy a classic car show, tour the Fuquay-Varina Museums Complex, and cheer on the kids as they ride rides and climb the rock wall.
And of course, there will be a food court, and local craft beers.
