Save the Date!

Lantern parade will be Saturday, January 15th at 6 pm

Academy Street Artwork Projects is excited to have internationally-renowned visual teaching-artist Gowri Savoor on board to lead a series of lantern-making workshops and the Under the Silver Moon Lantern parade as a part of the GLOW 2021 outdoor exhibition. 

Troughout November and December, there will be several community workshops led by Gowri to create lantern structures using sustainable materials. The lanterns will be used for a community lantern parade which will be held on January 15th.
