In celebration of Black History month, Peggy Van Scoyoc will present about the history of civil rights in Cary. Based on her book Desegregating Cary, Van Scoyoc, will lead us through her impressive collection of local oral histories, and will share details of Cary’s role in the desegregation of schools in the South.
