Songs of the South from the Durham Symphony Orchestra

Durham Symphony Orchestra offers Songs of the South: Tribute to Southern Artistic Creativity on Sunday, March 3, 4 PM at the Hayti Heritage Center, 804 Old Fayetteville Street.

Led and inspired by Maestro William Henry Curry, the Durham Symphony Orchestra produces a variety of concerts annually.  In addition to ticketed events, their season includes Free Community Concerts such as DSO Pops in the Park on May 4, and a youth concert in partnership with KidZNotes at the Emily K Center on April 13.  Auditions are held annually and the orchestra includes professional, student and amateur musicians.

The Durham Arts Council is pleased to support the Durham Symphony Orchestra through the Season Grant Program.
