The 4th Annual Glenaire 5K (G5K) and Mile Run will be Saturday, March 28, 2020, on the Glenaire campus located at 5000 Glenhope Court in Cary.

The professionally timed race will start and finish at the Glenaire parking deck. For the 5K, participants have the option to be timed, but recreational runners and walkers are welcome. Advanced entry fees are $30, or $35 day of event.  The 1-mile Fun run/walk is a non-timed event, entry fees are $20.

The 5K run will begin at 9 a.m., while the 1-mile Fun run/walk will start at 9:10 a.m. Registration and packet pick-up will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the start/finish line. The awards ceremony will be held as soon as the final race results are tabulated.  Participants are invited to stay after the race to enjoy entertainment and refreshments. Beer will be provided by Jordan Lake Brewing Company.  A photo ID will be required for alcohol consumption.

The Glenaire 5K is held to benefit The Presbyterian Homes Foundation, Inc. The Presbyterian Homes’ communities, including Glenaire, have a mission to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those we serve. We accomplish this by providing our residents a caring and high-quality retirement lifestyle that supports their physical, intellectual, social, and spiritual well-being. The Presbyterian Homes Foundation, Inc. provides support to residents of their communities who need financial assistance due to outliving their funds. As a nonprofit, Presbyterian-affiliated organization, Glenaire has never asked any resident to leave our community because they have outlived their resources.
