About: The Triangle Wind Ensemble (TWE), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is an adult wind ensemble based in North Carolina's Triangle region. Since 1999, many of the area's most talented wind and percussion players have joined together weekly to practice and perform an exciting range of music for audiences in both formal and informal settings. TWE aims to build community through music and to enrich the cultural lives of our musicians and audience members. Our Mission To provide community service through the performance of wind ensemble music, attracting skilled area musicians by providing an opportunity to achieve musical excellence, to rehearse and perform on a regular basis, and to develop musically.
