About: Charley's K-9 Rescue is always looking for individuals and families to foster our rescue dogs. Located in the Triangle area, Charley’s K-9 Rescue is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to North Carolina high kill shelters and community pet owners.    Founded by veteran Nicole Blanton-Clark and her fiancé Christian Salinas, it is our mission to give dogs a second chance at being recognized as a loving and important part of the family. We place our focus on overlooked, bully breeds, and behavioral dogs during their last hours at the shelter or those surrendered by concerned owners who believe in our vision.   It is within this mission that we promise to be a sanctuary where they begin a journey of rehabilitation, gaining confidence and preparing for a new life of acceptance. This journey begins with a decompression period before finally adjusting to a home environment that emphasizes socialization with trainers, volunteers, children, cats and fellow canine comrades.   Then, through regular behavioral assessments, training, and loving foster homes, our dogs become well-trained and ready for adoption.  Please consider fostering with us or adopting one of our many available dogs. Reach out and we will get you matched with the perfect dog for your home life.  charleysk9rescue.com https://m.facebook.com/CharleysK9Rescue/
