There’s No Days Like Snow Days

Except for snow-day sledding kids, Cary nearly came to a standstill this week as 10 inches of snow fell in some parts.

The Triangle receives less than six inches annually. That mark has nearly doubled this January due to the slow moving system that dumped upwards of 10 inches in some parts of central North Carolina. That amount rivals only the entire January snowfall totals of 1933 of 10 inches, 1893 of 11 inches and still the largest January on record of 2000 of 17.9 inches.
