Cary, NC – January 25, 2020 – The North Carolina Chapter of NAPO (National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals) will be hosting the North Carolina Organizing Expo on March 28. The event will be held from noon – 4pm at the Gov. James G. Martin Building located at 4381 Trinity Road in Raleigh, NC.

According to a 2019 NAPO Public Survey, 72% of people consider most or all of their home to be disorganized.

The Expo is part of a nationwide campaign to promote the benefits of working with an organizing or productivity professional and highlights the educational opportunities for individuals looking to build a career in the profession.

This free event will feature, “Spring Decluttering, Your Head, Home and Heart,” a presentation by professional organizer, Geralin Thomas. Thomas appeared regularly on A&E’s Emmy-nominated TV show “Hoarders” as well as guest appearances on, “The Nate Berkus Show,” NBC’s “The Today Show,” CNN and South Africa’s The Home Channel.

Other highlights include:
• An “Appraisal Roadshow” where visitors can bring an item to be evaluated. The Roadshow is sponsored by Trader Chris Consignments & Gay Gasper Estate Sales
• Free onsite paper shredding, sponsored by eXp Realty
• Exhibitors specializing in complementary services such as, moving, downsizing, consignment, home organizing, work productivity, cleaning services, storage facilities and organizing products will be on hand to give demonstrations and provide information on a variety of topics to help promote the organizing industry.
NAPO Professional Organizers and Productivity Consultants across the United States host events in their communities to empower individuals, families, and businesses to regain control over their surroundings, time, and possessions.
