Morrisville Police K-9 Arko will be presented with and demonstrate a new K-9 Storm ballistic vest that is designed to stop a variety of handgun rounds and bladed attacks at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Indian Creek Trailhead (101 Town Hall Drive).  The inclement weather location for this event is Fire Station 1 (200 Town Hall Drive).

The event is open to the public and refreshments will be available after the demonstration.

The lightweight vest is unique among K-9 protective gear because it allows for increased agility, is custom fitted and designed for daily wear. Spike’s K-9 Fund is providing the vest to Arko at no cost to the town. The Fund is a non-profit organization established to help and protect police K-9s and is founded by retired US Navy Seal James Hatch.
