Functional Art to Enjoy! | Diana Hrabosky
“I’ve been creating 2D art with colored pencils, acrylic paint, and mixed media for several years. New ideas for different art forms are constantly popping into my head, but only a few of them come to fruition for a variety of reasons, such as decorative vases and frames for those special photos. Unique textile wrapped jewelry incorporating multi-cultural influences is another. Each piece is carefully designed and handmade using a variety of materials, such as yarn, leather, and metallic thread. Embellishments include fabric, ribbon, thread, clay, beads, wood, and metal. My main focus is crafting colorful, distinctive necklaces that can be worn with jeans or a formal dress. Feel special. Wear Textile Jewelry Art!” – Diana
Pastel Memories | Jane Steelman
Jane paints using soft pastels. Her paintings in this exhibit are based upon people and animals she knows and places she has been. She loves the mountains and visits there annually to take photos of places to paint. The paintings in this exhibit represent some of her memories and visits to the places in North Carolina. Some are included of her grandchildren or pets, which are not for sale, but she accepts commissions for paintings of your favorite people, animals, and landscapes.
The show runs to August 26.
