About:

Offer a choice of satisfying work experiences for adults with varying disabilities, while allowing those adults the self-esteem of earning a wage for their work. Life Experiences operates five small businesses — bakery, janitorial, laundry, sub-contracting and buckwheat hull sales — and employs 48 people.

Life Experiences hosts an annual motorcycle poker run in April and charity auction and golf tournament in August.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Business Support - purchase from our bakery department
Serve on a Committee - Board of Directors, Fundraising Committee, etc.
Conduct a supply drive - cleaning & office supplies, crafts, etc.
Assist with beautification and upkeep of Life Experiences facility in Cary

A wish list of needed items is available online. Most needed items include housekeeping supplies, outdoor items, craft supplies and entertainment items.

A variety of monetary sponsorships are available for individuals or businesses.
