Osteria G brings casual fine-dining energy to the Apex-Holly Springs line, welcoming guests with attentive table service, warm hospitality, and a seasonally shifting dinner menu Tuesday through Saturday. Proprietors Joe Reinis and Ashley Startek foster a regulars-driven dining room, while Executive Chef Manny Lozano builds daily specials around North Carolina produce, Atlantic seafood, and house recipes that keep the experience both refined and approachable.
The kitchen’s rotating lineup highlights signatures such as OG Homemade Meatballs with ricotta crostini, Meatball Wellington wrapped in buttery puff pastry and finished with Madeira mushroom sauce, and lamb osso buco over parmesan polenta. Seasonal pastas like black truffle agnolotti or hand-rolled ricotta gnocchi share the spotlight with Tuscan shrimp tossed with cannellini beans, baby kale, and lemon confit, showing off Lozano’s flair for layering texture and flavor.
Guests linger over a full bar featuring smoked Old Fashioneds, espresso martinis, and a sommelier-curated wine list pouring more than 30 selections by the glass and over 100 bottles, recognized with Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence since 2022. Half-priced bottles every Tuesday, monthly chef-and-sommelier dinners, and rotating cocktails underscore the beverage program’s depth, while reservations are strongly encouraged for the intimate dining room, which rests closed Sunday and Monday to reset for the week.
