Brodeto

Brodeto brings Chef Scott Crawford’s love for the Adriatic coast to the vibrant Raleigh Iron Works district, offering an elegant dinner-only experience each night from 5 to 10 p.m. The attentive team guides guests through seafood-forward plates while beverage manager Jordan Joseph balances the menu with coastal-inspired cocktails, amari, and a focused Old World wine list.

Menu highlights lean into Southern Italy and Croatia, from the namesake brodeto stew brimming with monkfish, prawns, octopus, and hearth-grilled bread to bright crudos, hand-crafted breads, and house-made pastas. Signature plates such as the spaghetti al nero in sea urchin butter and chile pangrattato, along with indulgent desserts like hazelnut gelato and olive oil cake, make the dining room a go-to for date nights and celebrations.

Groups can reserve a private dining room for up to 24 guests or buy out the full restaurant for larger gatherings, with customized menus and beverage pairings that showcase Crawford’s coastal pantry. The polished ambiance and rigorous service have already earned Brodeto a No. 8 spot on Raleigh Iron Works’ July 30, 2024 roundup of the Triangle’s 30 best restaurants, underscoring its stature among the region’s premier dinner destinations.
