It’s that easy.
This Saturday, May 14 is the 24th annual Letter Carrier Food Drive, when the National Association of Letter Carriers unite for Stamp Out Hunger, the largest one-day food drive in the nation.
All donations made here in Western Wake will go to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
Last year's local collection brought in enough food to provide 409,720 meals to area families, and this year you can help by placing non-perishable food items by your mailbox on Saturday, or by delivering food to your local post office.
Please note: Non-perishable, up to date foods only, no glass containers, and no homemade items.
