PORCH Chapel Hill Carrboro, an all-volunteer, grassroots nonprofit organization that distributes food to hundreds of at-risk families and local pantries in Chapel Hill and Carrboro announced today it is hosting the second annual PORCHfest Sunday, June 2, from 4 pm – 8 pm on the Village Green at Southern Village.

The free community gathering will feature games for the whole family, a bake sale and a 6 pm performance by the acoustic roots band Craicdown. A number of Southern Village restaurants will be donating a portion of sales during the event to Porch including Town Hall Grill, La Vita Dolce, Pazzo and Rasa Malaysia. The Carolina Brewery will also be on the Village Green selling beverages for the event.
