The Eno River Association will present the 2018 Festival for the Eno on July 4 and 7 at West Point on the Eno City Park in Durham, North Carolina. The 39th Annual Festival features live music including headliners Lucy Dacus, Bowerbirds, Cheik Hamala Diabate, Ladies Gun Club, the African American Dance Ensemble, and Lonnie Holley, a juried craft show, food and fun on the river.

The Festival will showcase over 75 artists on 5 stages throughout the two days. Artists performing on each date are listed below. Of particular note is the return to the stage of the Bowerbirds, one of North Carolina’s most treasured and revered musical acts, who will be performing their first live show in over six years. Over the past decade Bowerbirds, forged by creative partners Phil Moore and Beth Tacular, have released three critically-acclaimed albums and toured extensively playing to sold out crowds across the globe. Pitchfork called the duo’s sound “mesmerizing” and NPR went on to explain how “the band deftly mixes intricate craftsmanship and spontaneity, coupling tender melodicism with discordant vocal lines and backwoods experimentation.”

The Festival offers attendees a wide array of activities beyond the music including a juried craft show spotlighting over 90 artisans from throughout the southeast, hand selected food trucks and vendors, a craft beer and cider garden, art and dance demonstrations, and more.

The Festival for the Eno raises funds and awareness to protect the Eno River basin and expand access to public parks.

Tickets are on sale now and are available online at www.EnoFest.org, at select ticket outlets throughout the Triangle or at the gate day of show.
