Take a deep breath. Wedding planning can be crazy, stressful, and overwhelming at times. How are you supposed to know who’s going to be the best florist for your taste? What if your mother-in-law doesn’t like the flavor of cake you’ve chosen? Sometimes, you probably wish you could just close your eyes and fast-forward to the magical day itself.
Since you can’t actually do that, remember the next best thing: Cary Magazine’s Elegant Weddings Gala, on March 8 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., where you can meet many of the area’s top wedding vendors all in one place. And that place itself is one of the most charming parts about the Gala — the Angus Barn Pavilion. If you’re still looking for a place to hold your ceremony or reception, this could be the spot, and the Gala will give you an excellent preview of what the Angus Barn can offer.
Here are just a few reasons why the Angus Barn Pavilion might be the perfect place for you on your wedding day:
The flexibility. The terrace that overlooks the lake is an ideal place for a charming outdoor wedding, or you can be married in front of the large fireplace in the Pavilion (particularly if there happens to be bad weather). You might have a wedding right at sunset, a romantic evening candlelit ceremony, or maybe even a brunch wedding. The choice is completely up to you, and the Angus Barn is entirely flexible to your desires.
The ease. The Angus Barn Pavilion can truly be a one-stop shop for brides-to-be — they can provide everything you need for the wedding other than your cake and the band. They have a selection of in-house arrangements, linens, tables and chairs, and many other important elements for your special day.
The capacity. The Angus Barn Pavilion itself can seat about 800 people, or, if you don’t want to invite all of your dad’s clients, you can use the outdoor terrace, which seats about 250.
The food. Ham biscuits with homemade honey mustard, ribs, tuna tartar, pulled pork cutlets and more – that’s what you can expect from the Angus Barn’s culinary menu. Created by chef Walter Royal, an Iron Chef who was voted one of the best chefs in the South, the Angus Barn’s wedding menu has enough variety and creativity to satisfy most every bride’s taste.
Come see all of this and more at the Cary Magazine Elegant Weddings Gala on March 8. You’ll be able to sample many of the foods offered to brides, preview all of the areas where you might hold your ceremony and reception, and ask any of the burning questions you might have about the flower arrangements or the chair covers.
And even if you’ve already chosen your venue, remember that the Triangle area’s top wedding vendors will be there, from photographers to florists to bakeries and beyond.
