Born from the pages of Cary Magazine’s special weddings section, our fourth annual Elegant Weddings Gala seeks to complement the excitement surrounding your special day. Our grand sponsor, The Umstead Hotel & Spa, will provide the ultimate backdrop for an upscale, intimate affair, complete with cocktails, served hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment.

To enhance your experience, this year our presenting sponsor, Tre Bella Bridal, will host a bridal gown trunk show* with the latest dresses from Melissa Sweet and Pricilla of Boston. Tre Bella is the only bridal boutique in the state to feature these designers, so don’t miss your chance to try on fabulous gowns and speak to designer representatives. There are only 20 available fittings.

After three years of overwhelming success, Cary Magazine is unveiling its fourth annual Elegant Weddings Gala at the distinctive Umstead Hotel & Spa on March 4 from 4:30-8:30 p.m.

Brides with discerning taste are invited to attend the intimate gala to connect with the best professionals in the local wedding industry. The elegant Umstead Hotel & Spa setting will be the perfect backdrop for vendors to captivate brides with their impeccable style and professionalism.

Guests will enjoy cocktails and samplings of the Umstead’s top chef creations along with a full assortment of wedding cake and pastry options. The Umstead’s outdoor courtyard will also be on display in full bridal fanfare to showcase how it can accommodate an outdoor garden wedding.

As brides peruse the ballroom, salon and terrace areas, they can visualize ideas for their wedding day and even try on bridal couture. Every consideration from stationery to flowers, from music to photography and beyond will be available, helping you to create the wedding of your dreams.

Brides are encouraged to register now to save on tickets and to sign up for drawings at the event. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. A listing of preferred vendors participating in the gala is also available.

This special evening is the ideal place for the soon-to-be wed to visualize the setting and get new ideas for their special day. The themed displays of inspirational ideas and the area’s top wedding vendors mean brides will get the opportunity to do their planning at one upscale event.
