Live Music, Local Art

It’s back to the music this month, as Garner’s outdoor Music off Main series continues with the BrickHouse Band next Thursday, Aug. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Hundreds of people have taken advantage of free admission and parking to the first three shows, and a crowd is expected for BrickHouse too.

Also part of the event is the all-local Art off Main art market, plus family-friendly food and beverages available for sale.

BrickHouse Band is well-known across the area, for performing a variety of hits from the 1960s through today’s music, complete with tight harmonies, a solid rhythm section and blazing instrumentalists.

The concert will be held on the back lawn of the Garner Performing Arts Center downtown, at 125 Avery St. Parking is also available at GPAC’s main entrance at 742 W. Garner Road.
Organizers say bring your chair or blanket, but no coolers please.

The final concert in the Music off Main series is set for Sept. 13, featuring the band Hip Pocket.
