Open House for Child Enrichment Program

The Open Houses provide an opportunity for parents to meet the staff and learn more about the NAEYC accredited, 5-star licensed, morning preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds. This preschool program is child-centered and based on NAEYC’s developmentally appropriate practices of supporting children’s learning through play and carefully planned curriculum according to each child’s interests and individual development. This consistency of an 11-month morning program allows children to develop fuller relationships with teachers and peers. Center programming is secular, with an emphasis on welcoming families of all faiths, beliefs, and heritages. Preschool provides an opportunity to help children learn the values of accepting differences and developing tolerance, and this is emphasized in our daily communications with children and families. A core emphasis in the program is the gradual phase-in for children entering school for the first time or moving up to a new classroom. Preparation, communication between parents, teachers and children, as well as having a parent stay with the child to support that transition, is key in making the school experience successful for the children.
