XIOS Revamps Menu, Gives Away $25K in Prizes

XIOS Authentic Greek Cuisine in Apex is celebrating the launch of its new menu, and is sharing the fun by giving away more than $25,000 in food and gift certificates to customers in March. Prizes include free desserts, appetizers, entrees and $25, $50 and $100 gift cards.

“We celebrated XIOS’ five-year anniversary last year and decided it was time to shake things up a bit — Greek style,” said owner Denise Hatzidakis. ”So we’re refreshing the restaurant’s look and revamping the menu — from traditional Greek favorites to new signature dishes — the fresh new menu has something for everyone.”

New menu items include a new Island Salad with shrimp and scallops; Veggie and Shrimp Gyros; Pan-seared Grouper; Vegetarian Pikili; and a XIOS Sampler of three classic Greek entrees: pastitsio, moussaka and gemista, just to name a few.

The Greek island of Xios, home to the Hatzidakis family for generations, is known for its polite and peaceful residents who welcome visitors and guests with kindness and hospitality. Kirk Hatzidakis and his wife, Denise, a Raleigh native, opened the restaurant in 2004 using century-old recipes from the Hatzidakis family.

XIOS is also offering new daily specials:

Tuesdays: Featured Wine Night
One red and one white imported Greek wine at half-off bottle prices.

Wednesdays: Ladies Night
Ladies enjoy a free appetizer with the purchase of any entrée.

Thursdays: Kids Day
Kids eat free from the children’s menu. Limit two free kids’ meals with the purchase of one adult meal; dine in only.

Sundays: Sunday Brunch
A Sunday Brunch Menu is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Every FIRST Saturday: Salsa Night
Salsa Hot! at XIOS is the first Saturday of every month from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Come early for dinner and free dance lessons with our instructor, and dance the night away with DJ Allnite.

Every THIRD Wednesday: Wine Down Wednesdays
Learn and sample five Greek wines and complimentary appetizers for $20 at the bar.

Every FIRST & THIRD Friday: Live Belly Dancing
