About:

The nonprofit Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill provides a “home away from home” for families of children who are receiving health care at area hospitals, including the North Carolina Children’s Hospital.

Since opening in 1988, the House has offered physical comfort and emotional support to more than 36,000 families from all 100 counties in North Carolina, as well as other states and countries. The facility currently has 29 guest rooms but will expand to 53 rooms in 2015.

The House is located at 101 Old Mason Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516, less than one mile from UNC Hospital.
