About:

Assisting disabled veterans and supporting active servicemen and women.

For disabled veterans, MMIA provides structural, electrical and sanitation repairs when the repairs are beyond their physical and/or financial capabilities.

Care packages are shipped to active duty troops.

Quality-of-life programs are offered to active duty or retired servicemembers who suffer from PTSD, traumatic brain injury or other issues.

Volunteer Opportunities:

MMIA would like to staff its offices, located in Fuquay-Varina, during business hours. Long  hours are not required; 3 or 4-hour segments are highly appreciated.

Anyone with a skill to offer is welcomed to contact the organization. General needs involve Facebook page updates, bookkeeping/finance, auditing, grant writing, golf tournaments, scrapbooking, etc.

Help organizing fundraising events of all sorts.

Help in picking up donated items

Construction assistance, both from skilled workers and those without construction experience

Computer data entry, in MMIA offices or from your own home using Excel.

Donate:

MMIA collects inactive cell phones for recycling; drop off at offices (411-B North Judd Parkway, NE Fuquay-Varina, NC 275) or contact for pickup or shipping arrangements. 

Monetary donations may be made online.
