March To It! This month is full of things to do

Welcome to March — we’re one step closer to all-out springtime!

Celebrate by stepping out to enjoy these local entertainment options. From songs to storytelling, music to magic, the fun lasts all month long.

Broadway Voices
This Saturday night! Don’t miss your chance to hear Broadway’s beloved Susan Egan, star of Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, and Thoroughly Modern Millie.

A regular on the stages of Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center, Egan appears in Garner for one night only, as the second show in the award-winning Broadway Voices concert series.

Garner Storytelling Festival
Tell me a story! This ninth annual family-friendly festival features renowned professional storytellers Susana and Timmy Abell, Willa Brigham, John Golden and more.

Students from the 11 Garner-area schools share the spotlight with their own works, in this collaboration with the Garner Educational Foundation and Wake County Public Library’s Southeast Regional Branch.

Heart of Carolina Barbershop Harmony Chorus
Carolinas Senior Champion quartet Village Green and The Sweet Adelines regional champs Sapphire take the stage in this special fundraising concert; a portion of proceeds benefit Veterans Empowering Veterans.

The evening includes a musical salute to veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Mentalist Craig Karges
The art of magic, the science of psychology and the power of intuition combine to make tables float and metals bend, in a mind-blowing show designed to challenge the imagination.

This is the opening show in Garner’s It’s Showtime series, which continues through August.
