Laugh Your Socks Off

Go ahead, laugh your socks off — Felix Unger will scoop them up and probably launder them too!

This weekend is your final chance to see the classic Neil Simon comedy, The Odd Couple, as presented by the Towne Players of Garner in uproarious fashion.

Chips fly — both poker and potato — as Felix and Oscar Madison become roommates with absolutely nothing in common, except that they’re both newly single.

Neat-freak Felix dons his apron to spritz and dust, and makes the guys remove their shoes for poker night. Oscar, meanwhile, works feverishly to regain his bachelor pad, sloppy just the way he likes it.

Add the squealing Pigeon sisters from upstairs and one ruined roast dinner, and the timeless tale offers Neil Simon at his best, onstage at the Garner Performing Arts Center.

Remaining shows of The Odd Couple are Friday, Jan. 23 at 8 p.m.; and Saturday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door for $15, or in advance via garnerperformingartscenter.com.
