Love is always in season, but never more than at Valentine’s Day. This year, we want to hear about your best-ever date with that someone special!

Go ahead — inspire us with your clever dating ideas!

If your idea’s the best, you’ll stroll into the sunset with a great prize package, and you’ll be featured inside the pages of Cary Magazine, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

THE CHALLENGE:

Share a creative daytime, nighttime and/or weekend date idea that you and your partner have enjoyed together, and that others can re-create.

Be creative! “Went out to dinner” or “walked on the beach” entries won’t make the cut!   

To enter, email us the following:

Your name, and the name of your partner

Your town of residence (At least one of you should reside within our Western Wake coverage area of Cary, Apex, Morrisville, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina!)

Your phone number and email address

A little something about yourselves  

The specifics of your date idea. What inspired this date? What made it fun, romantic or special? What steps did you take to create this experience? Why do you recommend this date idea to others? Anything you’d do differently next time?  

A photo from that date, or a couples headshot/snapshot  

Submit entries to editor@carymagazine.com. All entries must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 5 p.m. Winners will be featured in the February 2016 issue of Cary Magazine.

Important Contest Terms

By submitting their dating idea(s), entrants acknowledge and agree that:

1. Entries may be edited.

2. Submissions reflect entrants’ own dating ideas, and ideas are not plagiarized from other sources. Cary Magazine is not liable in any complaint of copyright violation.

3. Decisions on winners will be made by the editorial team at Cary Magazine.

4. Winners’ dating idea(s), names and towns of residence will be published within Cary Magazine properties. There will be no monetary compensation for entries.

5. Winners will make themselves available, as a couple, for an interview and photo shoot with Cary Magazine staff between the dates of Nov. 30-Dec. 15, 2015.

6. Prizes will be awarded following completion of said interview and photo shoot, and prior to Feb. 14, 2016.

7. Winners will abstain from any public promotion of their contest win prior to the release of the February 2016 issue of Cary Magazine.
