We celebrate the new year with a new list of our Best of Western Wake Maggy Award winners. This year’s online nomination and voting process drew record numbers. Our readers are very loyal to their favorites in every category — restaurants, services, lifestyle, media, sports, shopping — but the question is, did your favorites win? My grandson and now my granddaughter attend Resurrection Lutheran Preschool. What a wonderful devoted group. I highly recommend every Mom and Dad who are looking for a postive environment for their childern This is the school!

I would love for you to have a category for portrait photography. If you did i would highly recommend Kim Crenshaw Photography. She is just the best there is.

Best Preschool

You got this one right on! Primrose School of Cary is an amazing school with strong programming/curriculum AND caring staff members (many have been there for 10 years!). What a deserving school.

Best Veterinarian

I have to disagree with the pick on the best vet. Although fairly new to her own practice, Dr. Jodi Reed of Harmony Animal Hospital on Ten-Ten is just the BEST there is! So many people recommended her to our family, and we have found out first-hand just how compassionate and caring she is. Her care is way above and beyond the call and the entire office loves their patients and truly cares. It is a rare find, and we are fortunate to have such a great vet! We will be life-long customers of hers, and I hope others will find out too just how absolutely amazing they are! I hope next year you give consideration to Harmony, as they truly are the best vet ever!
