Danielle Stanfield, Editor

Danielle Stanfield is the editor of Cary Magazine, the leading quality of life publication for Western Wake County. Danielle was appointed editor of Cary Magazine in 2003. She previously served as editor of Auto Remarketing, an automotive industry news magazine published by S&A Cherokee, also the publisher of Cary Magazine.

In her role as editor, Danielle coordinates a team of writers, columnists, copy editors, photographers and designers to produce Cary Magazine six times a year. Danielle brings a philosophy of informing, enlightening, engaging and entertaining readers through fresh, original writing and photography in each issue that reflects the quality of life in Western Wake County.

Danielle is an alumna of N.C. State University where she played soccer and served as news editor of Technician, the campus newspaper. Danielle attended the Georgetown University Institute on Political Journalism and participated in the American Society of Magazine Editors program where she gained journalistic experience with the Chronicle of Higher Education and the U.S. Army's newspaper, the Pentagram (Arlington, Va.). Prior to joining S&A Cherokee, Danielle held editorial positions with the Greensboro News and Record, the Burlington Times-News and the Pleasant Garden Post.

Danielle enjoys playing soccer, gardening and spending time with her family and cats.
