Jonathan Fredin
Jonathan Fredin is the chief photographer for S&A Cherokee, the publishing company of Cary Magazine. Jonathan has an extensive background as a newspaper photographer, writer and editor, having worked for publications and news agencies nationwide and abroad. Brian Mullins
Brian Mullins is a freelance photographer for Cary Magazine and works on other projects for S&A Cherokee, the publishing company of Cary Magazine. Brian's interest in photography started in high school, where he studied both still photography and videography. His passion for photography was rekindled with the birth of his daughter, and he has been steadfastly pursuing it since her birth in early 2006. Kristen Brown is a freelance photographer for Cary Magazine and a Cary native. After working in the resort industry and traveling for several years, she decided to pursue her passion for photography. Kristen is happy to return home and looks forward to her future here. She is a graduate of N.C. State University, where she was on the swim team.

Tony Coats
Tony Coats is a freelance photographer for Cary Magazine. For more than five years, he has covered sports assignments for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He particularly enjoys covering local sports because "this is one of the most sports-minded areas in the country with lots of new projects going on; its very exciting to be a part of it." Tony lives on the family farm with cattle, chickens, two dogs, a spoiled cat and his wonderful wife, Donna.

Diane McKinney
Diane McKinney is a freelance photographer for Cary Magazine. Diane developed a love for photography at a very young age from studying her grandfather's finely detailed, hand-tinted photographs. She made her passion a full-time career five years ago as a wedding and event photographer so she could spend her weekday time with her 1-year-old daughter, Katie.
